The powerful and fully-featured CadBlu Dental Pro™ M5 Milling Machine with DentMILL Dental CAM software provides an integrated milling capability to the CadBlu Dental Manufacturing Solution - performing the key role of milling the dental restoration patterns from digital CAD models produced with dental design software.
This purpose-built production dental mill provides superior accuracy with high throughput compared to other dental mills. The M5 milling system is designed as an open source mill, designed to provide owners with maximum flexibility and versatility in a dental manufacturing system. The M5 mill can accept input from virtually all dental design programs, and accept virtually all existing dental milling materials including wax, zirconia, acrylic, composites, metal, ceramics and others.
The system offers a wet or dry milling, using a versatile 8-tool Automatic Tool Changer (ATC) for unattended operation. A 98mm double fixture is provided, which accommodates material disks from 10-25mm thick and is large enough to produce up to 16-unit bridges.
Dental Pro™ M5 Mill features include:
- Control of all machine functions through easy-to-read and understand menus and high-tech touch screen monitor. This system also provides easy button definition and explanation functions, while allowing complete access to all of the machines powerful functions.
- Wet or dry milling
- .22 HP high-frequency spindle, with high precision ball bearings. Lifetime lubricated, maintenance-free. Current voltage: 21V maximum. Maximum RPM: 60,000
- 8-tool Automatic Tool Changer (ATC) changes mill cutters as required, allowing unattended operation.
- Double 98 mm fixture accommodates material disks from 0.393 - 0.984 in (10-25mm) thick and is large enough to produce up to 16-unit bridges.
- Balls screws on X,Y and Z axes with anti-backlash ball nuts
- Integral safety enclosure
- Tool calibration touch pad
- Personal computer with Windows operating system and Servo Control Card included
- Rotary actuator (180 degrees) with tailstock specifically designed to rotate customer fixture
- Flood coolant system with tub and filtration
- Heavy-duty stand included
Integrated with the M5 Milling system is Delcam’s DentMILL Dental CAM software. DentMILL is a 3-, 4- and 5-axis Dental CAM (computer aided machining) program for the manufacture of simple and anatomical copings and bridge frameworks including full crowns and abutments.
